Send my Friend to School
Our school council are supporting a campaign called ‘SEND MY FRIEND TO SCHOOL’ by speaking out for the tens of millions of children who are missing out on school due to conflicts, natural disaster and other emergencies. We believe that education is vital for all children and critical during a crisis where it gives much needed stability, safety and hope for the future. We invited Mark Harper MP to come into school on Friday 1st July, to find out what we are doing and to further assist us in persuading world leaders to find an extra £3 billion per year so that every child affected by emergencies can have the education that is their right. We showed Mr Harper around school and the school council had a meeting with him to tell him about our campaign, he also attended our assembly.
