It’s World Book Day! On Thursday 2nd March, the school is celebrate World Book Day by taking part in a fun range of activities based on the much-loved series, WHERE’S WALLy
Children came to school dressed up as one of the characters from Where’s Wally, such as Wally, Wenda, Odlaw, Wizard Whitebeard or Woof. Alternatively, they can come dressed in red and white.
This theme has been chosen because 2017 is Where’s Wally’s 30th Anniversary.
Whole-school homework that week will also be Wally themed. Children will be asked to create their own version of a ‘Where’s Wally’ picture. There will be a prize per class for the best one, and Mrs Kirley will share those designs on the school website!
We asked that each child brings in £1 for World Book Day. The money raised will be used to buy much-needed headphones for the school.
