In Gloucestershire children can start primary/infant school/academy, if their parents wish, in the September of the school year in which they become five. An application must be made to the county council for every child starting school in September 2017. Parents can apply online 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/startingprimary from November until midnight on January 15th or by completing a paper form which can be downloaded from the same site or requested from the county council's Admissions & Transfer Team on 01452 425407. All applications for a Reception school place must be made through the County Council admissions procedure.
In year admissions - where children need to move school part way through the year, are now dealt with by the school. Deciding the best school for your child is a big decision. If you would like to view our school please contact Mrs Kirley or Mrs Powell to arrange an appointment. You will then be asked to complete an “In Year admission form” and return it to the school. Your application will then be considered and you would be notified in writing of the acceptance of your application and a start date for your child.
