After School Club

Tibberton After School Club provides after school activity for children aged 3 to 11 years of age, in a safe, happy environment, supervised by professional, experienced staff.

The varied programme includes arts, sports, and recreational activities.  A quiet area is set aside where children can read or rest.

Children are supervised by club staff at all times during club hours.  Children will be collected from Nursery or after school activity club and supervised until they are collected by their parent (or named substitute).  The parent/guardian must give WRITTEN permission if they wish a child to go home unaccompanied.

After School Club is open every week day 3:30pm – 5:30pm

(session 1: 3:30pm – 4:30pm; session 2: 4:30pm – 5:30pm).

We provide a snack for the first session (e.g. fruit/raisins with cheese crackers/rich tea biscuit) and then a more substantial snack (e.g. pasta/toasties/beans on toast) for the second session.

Fees and Payment

New price per session will be £4.25.

Fees information, registration and booking information is available from the office

Payments should be made through the ParentPay system online. Please see MrsJohnson in the school office if you have any questions. admin@tibberton.gloucs.sch.uk

Refunds for unplanned absence can only be given in exceptional circumstances as costs are still incurred. There is a charge of £20.00 per day for late collection after 5:30pm.

Sickness, Accidents, First Aid and Emergencies

If a child becomes ill during a club session, every attempt will be made to contact one of the people listed on the registration form, to arrange collection of the sick child.  The child will be cared for until collected.

In case of a minor accident, basic First Aid will be administered.

In case of an accident requiring more than basic First Aid, every attempt will be made to contact the parent/legal guardian to advise or discuss with him/her the course of action to be taken.

Please note:

The Registration Form contains an AUTHORISATION giving the Club Organiser permission to act “in loco parentis”.  IF THE PARENT/CARER CANNOT BE CONTACTED IN TIME, the Club Organiser will invoke that authority to take action to gain appropriate medical treatment for the child.  IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO GIVE SUCH AUTHORISATION, PLEASE DELETE THE RELEVANT PARAGRAPH ON THE REGISTRATION FORM.

TIBBERTON OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CHILD TO ATTEND A CLUB SESSION, UNLESS A COMPLETED, SIGNED REGISTRATION FORM IS SUBMITTED BY THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN.

All accidents and emergencies are entered in the Accident Book/Incident Log.

PLEASE RETAIN THIS INFORMATION FOR YOUR USE

To contact the club organiser to advise any change in arrangements (eg child’s absence from the club, likely delay over collection of a child) or for any other reason, please ring the  school office during the day.
