An ELSA is a school or college staff member who has been trained to support children and young people with emotional or social difficulties. They help children to develop skills to manage anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, social skills, amongst other areas of social and emotional need. We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Philcox, our SENDCo, supporting children at our school with ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) programs. We also have Mrs. Bowman, who is currently training to become an ELSA-trained member of staff. Children receive support from our team throughout the school year. Mrs Williams is our Mental Health Coach.
