Our Year 4 children have had a wonderful opportunity to work closely with Newent Community School to design and create this beautiful batik artwork. Through this collaboration, the children explored the batik technique, carefully planning their designs and bringing them to life using wax and vibrant dyes.
The project has been a fantastic experience, allowing the children to develop their creativity, patience and artistic skills. They have thoroughly enjoyed every step of the process, from designing their patterns to seeing the final pieces come together.
We are incredibly proud of the stunning artwork they have produced and of the enthusiasm and teamwork they showed throughout the project. It has been a truly enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
