Our Art Intention

At Tibberton we aim to help children be expressive, creative and original. To build skill in a variety of media, as well as to build knowledge of art, craft and design from around the world and throughout time.

Top Tips for Parents

Explore Local Art and Creativity
Visit nearby galleries, studios, or public artworks around Tibberton and Gloucestershire to spark curiosity and inspiration.
Make Art a Shared Activity
Draw, paint, craft or create together at home—family art time encourages confidence and experimentation.
Provide Simple Materials
Keep basic art supplies handy (paper, pencils, crayons, glue, recycled materials) so your child can create whenever inspiration strikes.
Talk About Art You See
Whether it’s a picture book, a sculpture, packaging or a painting, chat with your child about colours, shapes and ideas behind the artwork.
Celebrate Creativity, Not Perfection
Praise imagination, effort and originality rather than focusing on neatness or “getting it right.”
