Top Tips for Parents

Learn Through Play
Encourage lots of open‑ended play such as building, drawing, role‑play and exploring—this helps develop early language, maths, and problem‑solving skills.
Talk, Listen and Share Stories
Read together every day, talk about pictures, make up stories and enjoy rhymes to build vocabulary and imagination.
Explore the Outdoors
Take walks, look for seasonal changes, collect natural objects and let children explore with all their senses to support curiosity and physical development.
Build Independence
Let your child practise simple tasks like putting on shoes, tidying toys, pouring water or helping prepare snacks—these boost confidence and self-help skills.
Celebrate Small Steps
Notice and praise the little achievements—trying something new, sharing, concentrating or being kind—to strengthen confidence and a love of learning.
