Our Science Intention

At Tibberton we aim to nurture a sense of excitement and curiosity about scientific phenomena and the biological, physical and chemical processes and to develop respect, care and appreciation for our natural world. Through the acquisition of key scientific knowledge and the development of Working Scientifically skills children will be able to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse results and causes. They will learn to recognise the power of rational explanation and so understand the uses and implications of science today and for the future.
